TBSP #25: VPNs and Righteous Lies, The Christian Party Myth, and Policing in Los Angeles

In this episode we discuss the moral implications of using VPNs to lie about location for cheaper prices on online services, the moral implications of employers being required to accommodate abortions, and the LAPD being urged to end their practice of pretextual stops. We discuss the biblical perspective on lying and deception, highlighting examples in scripture where lying is justified or celebrated. We also emphasize the importance of not dismissing or hating individuals who have had abortions, while still holding our Biblical stance against abortion. The conversation touches on the separation of church and state and the need for a clear distinction between the two. In this conversation, We also discuss the misconception that the Republican Party is the Christian party, and the Los Angeles City Council's encouragement for the LAPD to stop performing pretextual stops. Our aim is for this podcast to shed light and foster understanding in your life, helping you gain a better understanding of our world through God's Word.
